Kept our best players and signed the majority of what we wanted

How is that not a decent window? Especially the keeping best players bit, given we are a new Championship club.
Most clubs in our league are having mini rebuilds or major ones and losing 14/15 players.
We are in a position i’m sure many would wish to be in and importantly we know we have the backing to go again in January.

At the moment we don't know IF we have improved the squad players. We can guess. But we don't know.
Scarlett is this seasons JJ
Williams is this seasons Leigh but a loan
Both of the above on paper should be better.
Hutchinsons loaned in to replaced loaned out Edwards
We don't know how this is gonna play out
Taylor is really the only additional squad signing who hasn't replaced another player.
“we don't know IF we have improved the squad players. We can guess. But we don't know.”
That’s daft - you could make that argument of ANY player. You could sign Messi and he doesn’t perform, or gets injured in his first game.

Not quite. That player for example has previous years of excellent. Of course any player could yet injured.
But the types of signings we've made don't come with such levels of excellence for anyone to be able to claim they are an improvement....... yet.
a niche perspective
