However what a difference a few weeks can make! Maybe it's taken him a few weeks to settle into the group, the team ethos and the way we do things. I imagine this is very different to what he's used to at Chelsea, especially youth football. But if he can grasp all those and and combine his clear talent with our high intensity then he has the potential to be one hell of a player for us if he wants it enough!

Hutchinson is getting better with every appearance on 19:29 - Sep 2 by Stewart27 | No. People have it in their heads that he’s over rated and then feel the need to have a pop at him to counter the fact that they have an imaginary scenario in their heads where he is over rated. |
Well that would be an opinion, just like mine is. Maybe the answer is somewhere in the middle? But he seems to get a lot of credit on here when he’s been wasteful. He’s got good feet on the touch line for creating one twos in space and he also has good pace. However, end product can be lacking IMO. A few examples - QPR, free header far post, almost in the sitter category. - Leeds, Couldn’t get it out of his feet for 2-0 - Leeds, great position lashes miles of target - Leeds multiple crosses over hit - Today multiple crosses overhit (first half and was never a corner second half) A good player; spent career in league 1 that KM has got a lot out of. Just not sure he has the quality and composure we need to challenge at a higher level. He will also be fine in a decent champ team but I think it’s an area we could improve. I expect to see a fair amount of Hutchinson.

Hutchinson is getting better with every appearance on 17:56 - Sep 2 by northants | Hutchinson has frustrated me previously with a seeming reluctance to track back...he's young and learning however and I get that. He seemed far more rounded today and team focussed. A great prospect! |
Have to agree Thought he looked lazy and wouldn’t track back in previous appearances Was electric on Saturday

Agree, I didnt think he brought much to the team, QPR he wasn't back tracking properly, Today completely different player,
Hutchinson is getting better with every appearance on 08:14 - Sep 4 with 676 views | CityBlue | lets be honest, to maintain that startling speed and work rate down the effort you can only realistically expect 65 minutes out of a player. Both have a part to play.

I think it's taken seasoned pros a number of weeks to get up to speed with how we play and the expectations on the field. He didn't have a full preseason with us and is a young lad. Think it's always going to take a bit longer with a younger player so the rate he's improving is really encouraging

Hutchinson is getting better with every appearance on 09:20 - Sep 4 with 595 views | BlueDouglas | Agree with everything said about Hutchinson - he looked good going forward and defensively, but most pleasing thing for me was in the last 2mins of added time, found himself in space on the right and rather than pinging a ball into the box, played for time then bounced it off the Cardiff defender for a throw-in, clever football we don't seem to do often enough! Him and Williams both knew what they needed to do to see the game out.
