Did he say 23? He obviously meant 25 and I should have changed it. We've got a space since Edwards left assuming Nick Hayes is going to be left out.

When I heard that I thought he might have meant 23 as in the outfield players as he knows the GKs occupy two of the spots.

When I heard that I thought he might have meant 23 as in the outfield players as he knows the GKs occupy two of the spots.

He didn't mention a number when he spoke to the written press, just said there is a space. You may well be right, although that would be a 22-man squad as we've three keepers.

I don't think Cathcart has been on the radar recently. I asked the other day and while there had been interest, it wasn't recent.
