Thought he grew into the first half, was a bit sloppy first 20 minutes but did well enough after that. Second half he started sloppily again and gave the ball away quite dangerously a couple of times and McKenna rightly made the change as we needed a bit more control, which Luongo gave us, and Taylor was on a booking so not worth risking him getting a second one by trying to overcompensate for some of his errors. He'll be fine though, he's adjusting to a new way of playing in a higher.division and he's got an excellent midfield duo ahead of him in the pecking order. He played a role in a first half we deservedly led against a team who were in the Prem a few months ago. All part of his development and you can guarantee it will have given him and the coaches some things to work on to get him up to the level we want him to be at. |  |
