mckenna explained this in his presser, taylor wasn't fully fit, so evans got the nod. either player would've been a risk playing 2 games close together after a while off. wouldnn't write evans off yet, but i'd say he's 4th choice at the moment if all are fully fit. he'll still have a role to play especially seeing games out.

What about Ball tho. Wasn't that his main position for qpr?

It was quite surprising he got the nod.. defo a KM mistake that. But I'm sure even he didn't expect it to be that bad a move.

It didn't work. Even before 'that tackle' it was clear the duo wasn't a partnership that was gonna work.
But it is what is it. I know you feel like no 1 ever ever makes mistakes. No one ever performs badly etc. But KM imo will be thinking himself he didn't make the right choice. But it happens.

Not the fastest but esp with his recent fullback cameos he's had that bit of defensiveness duty but also he's quite good with the ball at feet close control that may have been a better outlet for Hladky. And he's also not shy in the tackle.

But.. games gone now. We got a point. And we move on. Bit think it showed in good time that if we do lose morsy for a while.. Evans isn't the answer.
