A bothy is all well and good if you're part of a couple. We need more singlies to meet the needs of unaccompanied people.

I think most of the people who use mountain bothies are solo walkers, climbers, deer stalkers and crofters. It is a great way of getting round a fire and having a whisky or two, blethering away with people you have never met before.
