Think the away team has to inform everyone (other team, officials, EFL, etc.) at least a week before the fixture which kit they're going to wear so we'd have already 'submitted' the home kit having planned to wear the 3rd kit on Friday.

I assume it was just a sales pitch to convince gullible fans like me to buy it. I'm struggling to think of a team that plays in blue, white and bright orange that would prevent us wearing one of our main 2 kits. City was probably the obvious one, with the red a similar shade to the blue for anyone still with a B&W TV. But then blue shorts could have lessened the (very slight) clash.

I wonder if colour blindness is taken into account in the clashes? Does anyone know?
