Hladky's error last night 11:55 - Dec 13 with 3675 views | itfcjoe | I think it was really good that we conceded *THAT* goal away from Portman Road, because the reaction from the crowd was so good - even the boozed up people around me were very philosophical about it - "inevitable", "bound to happen eventually but it's right thing to do" etc.....imagine difference at Portman Road would have been large The away end was superb last night, as was Hladky after the early error - the way he helped see the game out with his feet is testament to the team spirit and his confidence and belief - and that of the fans too. Well done everybody

Hladky's error last night on 18:58 - Dec 13 with 307 views | Clapham_Junction | I think it was also pretty important (for his confidence) that we won the game. Had we lost or possibly drawn, he could have felt it was his fault. Unfortunately I was with the home fans yesterday (as the guest of someone who works at Watford) so couldn't really celebrate... Same as in 2015 when I was in the home end when Chaplow scored the late winner...

Hladky's error last night on 12:05 - Dec 13 by NthQldITFC | Very much. Encouragingly also, there were only one or two moaners on the chat, which can be very quick on the old knicker-wetting front. I suspect the response if/when it happens at Portman Road might well be better than we expect. Another one of KMc's superpowers has been educating the fans, and I reckon he might have done a better job than we realise. |
well Id caution dont go for a repeat of it against Norwich, as I think the reaction might be very different. but I think alot of fans at Portman Rd are alot more comfortable with that style of play now, a few seasons back, youd have felt the tension everytime it happened, and loads more shouts of AWAY!!!! or ROW ZZZZZ!!! from fans. so I feel Hladky does give the fans confidence he knows what he is doing, and can play the ball around and its not an issue, I think Mick was right on the radio, he got caught in two minds at the last second and thats the classic error in football sometimes that catches you out. helps we know we can score goals too obviously
