All those deflections and a lot of luck getting us to that record, obviously.

28 points from the losing positions.

Shocking?

We got 31 points in total from that bunch of hopeless wasters who had relegated us without a fight.

Those are some incredible stats and initial thinking being, something you can take a certain amount of pride in.

Neutrals could argue League One was or is an easy league where points are readily available but that just isn't the case but we almost won it and amassed 100 goals through work-rate, desire and consistency. Putting together a damn good team, it still doesn't sit right Plymouth somehow got the league win instead of ourselves.

Never imagined back last summer we'd be in 2nd position in a higher league still losing very rarely and on the verge of successive promotions. This is without question, best time period in the club history going back to George Burley. All right, Royle saw some good times but we fell short when it mattered. This time we're stronger and better equipped than before. Goals scored freely, very few losses and the consistency is back. There's got to be further celebration ahead.
