Last year was particularly bad with teams advancing 20m or so down the touchline but this year I've not noticed so much, however tonight in the first half a throw in was maybe 10m in their own half, by the time their player conned the ref and lino it was the same distance into our half when he threw it in.

Why do they never really bother about this obvious cheating?

To be fair plenty of Town players do the same, especially Davis.

I don't love it but let's not pretend we don't do it too, so overall it evens itself out.

It’s such an easy one to fix. If it’s taken in the wrong place, it’s a foul throw, and the other team gets the throw. Teams also use it just to ‘get their breath back’, knowing they’re probably going to be sent back.

Not sure how you change things. If Ref starts getting picky about it players are going to waste time, asking ref if they are in right place.

If you change rules and make it a foul throw if taken more than say 5 yards from correct place then every throw will be taken close to 5 yards from correct point.
