I’m gonna put it out there…….. 11:11 - May 16 with 1296 viewssmithy69

Manchester United will not hire a manager that has never managed in the top flight under the current regime. In a Years time we may lose KMAC- but he would go with a Handshake, a Thankyou for doing what he has done, and a standing ovation when he returns

Possibly not. But he is definitely in the mix for the job at the moment.

Also, McKenna is not alien to the EPL, he came from a senior coaching role at Man Utd and is said to have played a pivotal role in setting up the team when OGS joined, although the tactics got scuppered when they brought in a bunch of players that didn't fit the plan.

Nobody is saying he's favourite to be the next Man Utd manager, or it's not a risk for Man Utd to take him on. What is being said is Man Utd are shopping and McKenna is one of the names on their list.

I hope he stays for another year.

Poll: Should there be stickied threads for hot topics (e.g. matchday/McKenna rumours)?

He's going to be here for at least five more years, overseeing us breaking into the EPL top six.

Some people are talking like he’s already gone lol

I just cannot see , in any world, where they give him the job

If we Finish top half next season - I think he will go - but I am comfortable with that.

If he can get us in the top 6, he can get us into the top 4. If he can get us into the top four he can get us into the top 2.

They hired the even more unproven Ole and he got them to their highest league position in recent years.

Who's this new chief exec they're trying to employ from newcastle? He's on gardening leave i think but its all subject to negotiation/litigation and until that's sorted i'm not sure they will make such a huge change. The only thing i worry about is radcliffe thinking that Kieran is the answer to all their problems (he's right).
