My wife is a West Ham fan so obviously pick up a lot of fan views on them also. He is a good player and not used enough by moyes but always seemed to impress when he was used. I think that £20k might be his current salary. He was offered a new contract at a significantly increased salary but that was still not enough. From general comments he sees his worth well above £50k per week which I am guessing would be well outside our wage structure. That and his lack of playing time is why he is moving on | | | |
