Man City 16/1 for relegation 17:05 - May 30 with 857 views | kizaitfc | Now the managerial stuff is done with I can look at other interesting odds. SkyBet just tweeted 79% of relegation bets have been placed on City. For once we could have a bit of luck and have the easiest league of the season rather than the toughest.

Man City 16/1 for relegation on 17:07 - May 30 with 829 views | Zx1988 | I assume that's 16/1 based upon the amount of money staked, and a risk-averse attitude from the bookies, rather than any ITKness? I just can't see past City getting the lightest sanction that the governing body can get away with giving. Probably something along the lines of a 10pt deduction, a suspended relegation, and perhaps some sort of embargo or disqualification from certain competitions for a period of time. I can't see anyone having the balls to impose a harsh enough penalty to make relegation a realistic prospect.

I think it more likely they will get a massive sanction which they will appeal and end up with around 2-5 points. Probably just low enough to mean they still win the league.
