That's just applying a different logic and saying "by this logic". Norwood wasn't good enough to take us where we wanted to go post takeover. But he was a decent performer Vs a lot of the rest of what we had. That's all people are saying.

Not a fan of the bloke so not sure why there has to be comments about him being a cult figure etc. he wasn't. He was just a decent L1 striker. Overall he was better than Bonne and non question he was giving his best.

Norwood was a decent lower league goalscorer, but partly as a result of below average technique & fitness, wasn't going to offer much more than that. He did run around enthusiastically on the pitch from time to time & yes he was committed once on the pitch & fans usually love that.

Agree with this. And for me he was more effective than Will Keane, yet for a long while fans were wanting us to sign Will Keane back again. We've all got different opinions, but at least Norwood always appeared to give 100% when he played. He obviously didn't have the ability to take it to the next level and had a poor injury record, but he often played through the pain barrier and doesn't deserve to be slagged off as much as he is IMO.

Sorry but that is all absolute carp! and if that is your ‘different’ opinion it’s a rubbish one. Comparing him favourably to Will Keane? who was the only brightish light in the Championship relegation and since went onto be the top scorer in a promoted team and played in the Championship ever since? That one? Norwood is hardly even a footballer in comparison. Conflating Norwood panting and being out of breath after half an hour with giving 100% is something a lot on here seem to do and playing through a pain barrier of your own construction isn’t something to be admired!
