The football world would have judged us along with Naarich. "What is it about East Anglian clubs getting promoted to the Premier League and then getting relegated with not so much as a whimper?"

Would have spent 10 million and been told we were having a right go at it. Then the rest to cover losses for another 10 years. Would have signed 3 or 4 players in January on frees as squad filler until the end of the season to give us a chance of staying up. O’Niell would probably have had another 3 jobs to cover on top of the jobs he already had whilst proclaiming we were going for a more data led approach to transfers with him being the sole scout for the world. We really would have struggled to get 15 points, gone down and never looked like going up again and it would have been the premier leagues fault.

"... it would have been the premier leagues fault." Definitely NOT MM's fault or Marcus Evans fault(???)
