Is delap a winger or a striker? 11:51 - Jul 13 with 1326 views

Watched a few videos and he's mainly on the right. Yet at times is in the middle.

So just curious if he's seen more as a winger rather than striker or if he's just a roaming forward?

I'm a big fan of Delap, he's got all the attributes to be improved by McKenna coaching. If i'm honest I think this is the only one of our transfers we've overpaid for, would have been happier at £10m.

He's also probably the least first team ready in that you feel the other 3 all know their game well but i'm excited to see what McK can do. I love his ability to get tight to a defender, roll him and power away.

Think this is why McKenna's interest. As we saw with Jackson, McKenna likes versatility, and Delap ticks that box, except better, bigger and stronger than Jackson was.
