Really like the signings we have made so far but do feel we need 2-3 experienced prem heads through the door.
Similar to what saints have done bringing in Adam Lallana and Charlie Taylor on frees who have combined with over 400 prem apps!!!

Honestly would not be keen on those signings but I know what you mean. I suppose we would struggle to get many 26-28 profile Prem experience for cheap.
Brandon Williams does tick a lot of boxes as we need LB cover, he has Prem experience and free. But the risk is obvious!
If Utd don't take Amrabat I'd love to see a bit of an ambitious move for him. Talking somewhere between £10 million and he's hugely experienced. Thought wages would be a problem but apparently he's on just over £30k a week. [Post edited 13 Jul 2024 18:17]

I think our manager is the guy with a whole wealth of experience. Ben Johnson has a bit too. I'm not sure if the players need it or not. Let's be frank we are going to be playing against players who are bigger, quicker, stronger and more clued up. Our style of play is fairly revolutionary and teams have struggled to contain us. That's why I like the Che Adams link. 28 years old, over 100 PL games, 25 PL goals. I think we need a couple of that ilk more than PL versions of Aluko/Keogh. We need players that can impact the first team, not just players that are good in the dressing room. Especially when you are paying £30k+ a week for someone. | | | |
