"why would Sky bend over and let the clubs tell them what they can and can't report?" There are a multitude of reasons. Some clubs put NDA's in players contracts for example.

An NDA is only enforceable on anyone that has signed the NDA agreement. Sky wouldn't be involved in that. The clubs may say to Sky that there is an NDA in place and ask nicely if the interview could be pulled for now but sky could say no.

No. You’re obviously right, there’s no way a media corporation would take something down like that.
Except they have, and I worked with national media for 20 years. You’d clearly be surprised what goes on.

There's plenty of reasons why it may've been pulled. I'm not denying you might be right and clearly from the noises we've heard a deal is close.

All I'm saying is, my observation from watching the video was there was no confirmation he had gone at all. In fact, if Sky hadn't put the comment stating "has the transfer just been confirmed" (paraphrased as I can't remember the exact comment!) nobody would've taken much notice of the interview.
