It's closed southbound so the worst of it will be for people travelling towards Chelmsford and London after the match.
The article says "The closure will require all southbound traffic to be diverted up and over junction 25 via the exit slip road and to re-enter via the following entry slip road."
The actual length of road closed is quite short but it will cause delays because traffic will need to go straight on at the roundabout at the top of the slip road, past the Shell garage and back on to the southbound A12.

Doesn't south bound mean heading towards London? Would it affect the other carriageway? It'd be a pain getting home, but not so sure about getting to the ground. | |
