If Clarke is now beyond the budget he would seem to be a decent option. Improved under McKenna's coaching towards the end of the season when the pace of games slowed down and he had more time on the training ground. |  |

Loved him as a bit of a cult hero and that goal, but let’s be honest he struggled to work his way in to the starting line up and we need people who will improve the starting 11. Best for everyone to go our seperate ways |
This is where I'm at. We all loved him for his energy and enthusiasm plus the odd massive goal, but he really struggled to impose himself when he started, and could actually be pretty wasteful with the ball. Worth bearing in mind that he struggled to get game time for WBA, then came here and was also best as a super sub, so I'm not surprised we've not been rushing to get him back.
I'd gladly see him back if he ended up here, but I think we need better for this season. |  |
