I might be misremembering but I think Henning Wehn mentioned that the Ten German Bombers song was unfair as they did a pretty good job in flattening Coventry and the East End of London.

As the crowd at his gig went silent and a tad awkward he then said ‘who hasn’t got a sense of humour now’.
