Just a heads up for anyone who's child may have missed out on a college course due to results, we reviewed a specific GCSE for my son as It was a bit odd,
anyway, they reviewed it and he was misgraded by 8 points which has increased his grading. So it's worthwhile reviewing. |  |

It's always worth knowing where the grade boundaries sit and how many marks you are off that next one before asking for the review. Too far away and it is not worth it, unless you are sure there has been an obvious error. For example, predicted a 8 and got a 4.
If it is close, then it is always worth asking for a remark and I'm sure it is something like 60% are successful in that request. And of course if you are successful, you get the remark fee back. [Post edited 29 Aug 2024 10:30]

Yeah definitely, we've asked them review another as he was 5 marks off an upgraded grade with that one, so if he's had that error with one, who's to say he's not had it with this one.
Always worth a check as he's missed out on a very specific college course based on this specific subject so if we can get him the upgrade then it would be brilliant for him. | |
