That's a false equivalency.
I could suggest that there is a link between the number of posts you made each week during our 2 promotion seasons and the number of points that Town got. Town got tons of points and you posted countless times (please don't count them even tho' you can).
The conclusion being that there is no link or ...

So to answer Keno's question. Guthers' table would show Man City winning the league with a maximum 114 points on goal difference over Liverpool. Arsenal will finish on equal points and goal difference with Brighton but the Seagulls will pip them to 3rd place on goals scored.
The best news however is that Town will avoid the drop in 17th place with 13 points. Wolves will finish on 13 points too but with an inferior goal difference and Southampton and Everton will finish at the bottom on zero points, Everton with a goal difference of around -100.
The prediction table is of course nothing more than a league table showing points acquired to date plus extra points based on recent form extrapolated over the remaining matches of the season. The reason why people get so excited about it is because a run of good form will show the team occupying a better position than what they currently have. However, as the season progresses it increasingly resembles the actual league table until the last match when it is in fact identical. I've always wondered why people get so excited about it. |  | | |
