I'm already struggling with this 2 weeks of no Town games. I spent some of the evening flicking through cup games on sky and spent 10 minutes watching my now local team (Swindon) to which I promptly fell asleep The standard was absolutely shocking but my favourite bit was reading the comments from Mark Kennedy (Swindon manager) after the game, who despite not managing a win in his first 7 games... "Nothing but positivity is going through my mind right now" and "I had nothing but positives to come out of tonight, I am really pleased with where we are at" Also I enjoyed ""The goal that won the game tonight was another wonder strike, so, no, there are no nerves." - That 'wonder strike' may well have been made possible by 4 of your defenders running away from him as if he was carrying a hand grenade Good luck with that Swindon fans, I'm not sure what is worse for their fans, the losses or the dillusional comments from the manager Yet again a reminder of how lucky we are with McKenna and his absolutely sense that he talks https://www.gazetteandherald.co.uk/sport/24561222.mark-kennedy-sees-nothing-posi [Post edited 3 Sep 2024 22:58]
