Will club still let me reassign season ticket to a family member for a match? 10:43 - Sep 2 with 3898 views | brazil1981 | Did last year when on hols, it’s an OAP ticket but family member is in 20s so we just paid the difference! Wondered if they don’t allow that now as there’s this new ‘sell ticket back’ system?

All extra money coming in, so not surprised it’s not a problem.

Yep exactly. £20 extra from kids to adults, or £12 from kids to OAP

We both have senior tickets for Brighton but I am unable to go but my son would like to use my ticket. He is an adult so I guess tickets are more expensive.

Firstly this is not me having a moan, at you personally or others. This scenario however is the main reason why the reselling system/website is not going to really work. I know there was only 29 for Liverpool and how many was for Fulham (I missed it). I'd imagine a lot of ST holders have friends/family who they can give tickets to. I'm just jealous I don't know anyone haha!

Copied from club website The Away Match Ticket is issued for your sole use, and you shall not sell, dispose of, assign, transfer or otherwise deal with the Away Match Ticket or the benefit of it to any other person without the prior written consent of the Club. Further you shall not use the Away Match Ticket for any commercial purpose. The Club and the Host Club reserve the right to ask you for identification when using an Away Match Ticket You clearly need to speak to club, have no idea how they will respond although, as a one off, doubt they would say. Presumably you would volunteer to lose your point.

The resale system is in place to stop tickets going to waste, and to give people an option other than being forced to sell them on (and in turn they fall into the hands of touts or get turned for profit). It's not to stop people effectively sharing a season ticket, especially with family. We're a family club, remember.

Wasn’t a facetious question on my part. My lad has been a ST holder for over 10 years but he’s hopefully off to Uni next September. He doesn’t want to lose his ST but I will need to upgrade it on a fairly regular basis to allow people to come with me

You could but he’d have to have 15+ points on his account. It’s only £4 difference, he’d get in fine with it without the upgrade.

To get tickets on that resale site do you need to have a membership? Unsure of the rules as not had to use it. Wish I could help you out mate, but if my oldest doesn’t want to go I have wife, mum and dad all ready and willing to grab the spare

If you are stuck finding someone to go with you ... you are in south Norfolk and I am in north Suffolk ... just saying! To be honest, I really could do with finding someone who might want to sell on 4 together on the occasion they all cannot attend. I did manage to get 2 tickets in the ballot for Fulham but it felt odd leaving the wife and one child at home. (Unfortunately, although all 4 of us attended together last season, it was only in 2 of our names and the club refused to reallocate the other two tickets.)

The stewards/ticket man in the north stand scan it for you, and on the screen it says ‘child’ for a child’s ST
