We need to improve our chance creation, massively, but despite that and the near defeat today, I don't think we're a million miles from where we need to be. We've only conceded 2 in 3 games too, which suggests the defensive part of our game isn't a million miles out.

I'm a bit worried about our striking threat, overall - Delap is exciting but raw, Hirst maybe a bit limited at this level, and then we're looking at AAH - but overall I think I'm with you.

I don't think Hirst is limited at this level. His link-up play is excellent. The problem is getting and keeping him match fit. | | | |

Think how bad we were in the 2nd half masked how good we were in the first. Odd game really where both goals were against the run of play. Agree overall we weren't too far off it, just disjointed in the final third.
Do need to find a way to turn draws into wins though, can't keep saying 'decent point' forever. |  |

Yeah but why let the facts get in the way of people that like to focus on the negative. This small town club punching above it’s weight for periods every 20-30 years really isn’t for some. That or they are really bored to be here moaning at this time in our history. | |

I’m less worried about the ‘9’ in our system. Last couple of seasons they’ve not been our main threat, it’s been more about the 3 behind. Not sure we’ve quite got the balance right there yet. |  | | |
