Slightly odd pick for me. We couldn't handle Antonio or Kudus at all and with some slightly better finishing Kudus could have had 3.

Perhaps it is down to formation, and Deeney sees Bowen as a foil for Saka and Havertz ~ who he doesn't want to leave out in preference to Antonio and Kudus. That being said, I thought Antonio played as well as I have ever seen him and showed some remarkable close ball skills on top of his usual pacey and powerful threat. [Post edited 7 Oct 2024 12:56]
