When Forest went up they bought/loaned established Premier League players and they were awful. Lingard, Shelvey and even Henderson did not make the grade. They bought youngsters like Gibbs-White who took his time to settle but he is now their best player. Hudson-Odoi was a a bit more established, not as good as Gibbs-White but a bargain at £5 Mil. Elanga was another good buy. These youngsters were out of their depth in the first season but are proper Prem players now. Lingard plays in Korea and Shelvey is a bench warmer at a mid table Turkish club. If Forest had not survived that first season they would have been in big financial crap. If we are relegated we will not have £100 K per week millstones around out necks. And yes, we will be a very good championship side. [Post edited 6 Oct 2024 14:24]
