Mathematically not.

In determining our season based on our start, last 2/3 results, the table and results around us, I think it's must win.

The reality of this league is that we can only burgle points here and there outside of 6/7 winnable home games. One of which is today.

Glad that’s cleared up then.

FWIW it’s of course not mathematically a must win at this stage, but given we’re going to play 9 home games against teams in the bottom half (assuming we’re in there too), where you would think the lions share of our points will have to come, then this is likely one of them. Probably only the 2nd of the season after Everton (maybe Fulham will creep into that group). So not must win, whatever that means, but feels huge.

Let’s make plenty of noise and see what happens. Up the town.
