Pedri and Lamine Yamal especially are playing some ridiculous stuff with the latter still only 17! (and Pedri is only 21). Curbarsi another 17 year old who is playing pretty much every game. Casado and Fermin Lopez also only 21. Gavi is now back from long term injury. Dani Olmo is one of the most underrated players in world football (although a little older at 26) And that's not counting the experience of the likes of Lewa and De Jong. I've been watching quite a few of their games this season. Some of their defending is bonkers, but some of their attacking is scintillating stuff. Really fun team to watch at the moment.

On the ther side of the coin that nice chap M‘Bappe seems to have derailed Real Madrid by contributing very few goals whilst Bellingham has none whatsoever.

Barcelona on 11:38 - Nov 7 with 862 views | mellowblue | herr Flick has worked wonders compared to the Xavi bore-fest (though he did win La Liga 2 in 2022-23). The transformation of Raphina is incredible, has been given on-field captaincy as well. The ultra high line offside trap is going to get breached by better teams, especially if there are injuries to the back line and the unit is not so co-ordinated. But it is certainly entertaining. Another fine prospect is 17 year old Mark Bernal, who is currently crocked for the season but has impressed massively in the starts he has had. Olmo is great but injury prone and there are question marks as to how to register him after January once Araujo is fit again. They de-registered Araujo to financially make space for Olmo. They are dependant on background financial deals going through such as the Nike re-newal and the media deal, but these contracts are easy to announce but in reality take time to get over the line. They are certainly a joy to watch. My concern is that Flick wants a high intensity game (Bielsa like) and these young minds and bodies might be feeling the strain by Spring.
