By the way, I don’t like the digs we’ve had at Wrexham. Ashton had a little dig last season too over their TV series, suggesting we were better because we don’t do things like that. Clubs play to their strengths and Wrexham would be stupid not to use Reynolds and McElhenney to promote themselves.
We’re not so different in having a superstar to promote in his own way:

I know that there were multiple approaches to do a documentary film in the style of 'Sunderland Til I Die' and Ashton rejected them all. |  |
