With the implication being that we should have done better.
That would be Forest who are1 point off second, with the 3rd best defence in the division, and who seem to thrive on making the game ugly? A team of big lads who we couldn't compete with physically.
Forest did exactly what they needed to do, horrible team, and ugly to watch, but to suggest they are/were poor is just a really odd take.
I'm not saying we were good, as we evidently struggled second half, but perhaps some should consider that was because Forest stopped us from playing. |  |

I have to disagree in terms of the second half. First half we were decent, but the second 45... and I would say Forest did nothing special in the second half compared to the first. They kept at their level, whilst we took a visible step back. |  |

It's a classic football fan thing to deride a victorious opposition as rubbish when they play a more 'rugged' style than other teams. Presumably it's to somehow cheapen their win and suggest your team therefore come away with some sort of moral victory or to go in harder on your own players for not getting something from the match.
As you say they just did what they wanted to do well and stopped us from being able to impose ourselves on the game with any consistent threat. |  |
