In that we’ll go down and be able to point to at least a dozen points we carelessly dropped which would have saved us.

Sooner or later, there’s a point where it’s not unlucky or the officials fault every week, but it becomes more than that.

Staying up this season was always going to an even bigger achievement than the double promotion.
I know talk of “free hits” is frowned upon as defeatist talk, but this season really is - no-one expected us to be in the Prem this season.

I’ll be very surprised if McK is still here next season, so it’s how we then move on.

The quality of the prem is ridiculous as expected.

We have a great manager and a squad which is a mix of quality emerging talent and players probably well in excess of their limits. All massively bought into the strategy though.

We have a mini league of 6 teams at the bottom. We need to win a few at home. We've been really good at home but should have delivered more points. We then need to burgle away points like Spurs and Brighton.

To me we will fall short as we just lack enough quality, specifically off of the bench. This is no one's fault. It's just reality.

I thought the mini league at the start of the season would be the three promoted teams, Everton, Forest and Wolves. It seems like Forest are well out of it, and I think Palace will pull themselves out of the mire now they're getting players back, which means the mini league is down to five. Three go, two remain.

To show the mini league is starting to take affect, there is a four point gap between West Ham in 14th and Everton in 15th. Ignoring 1st to 2nd, that's the biggest gap in the league at the moment.

We’re getting better, we’re learning, we’re competitive - if we keep that up, we’ll do ok.

We’ll invest in January too.

Poll: So, how many league wins did you see in person?
