Last season away at Preston 22:24 - Dec 3 with 618 viewscbower

I know we lost 3-2 after an appalling first half but when we needed goals, KM for about the only time I can remember since the very early days of Norwood and Bonne, really changed his shape and played two upntop in Moore and Al-Hamadi. Yes, he has a preferred shape to the team that we all can see, but in that last 25, I would have loved to see a change of shape to help Delap out up there. He was so isolated all night. One of Szmodics, Al-Hamadi, Broadhead or Chaplin to play off him were all possibilities for me, just to change it and give Palace something different to think about. Any thoughts?

I agree that sometimes we maybe need to change a bit more and do something like that for a spell in games just to try to get something going. Palace were too comfortable.

I thought Ali did well.

He actually showed a glimpse of pace in his fleeting moments tonight

I wonder how fit he actually is

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

I agree. We had nothing to lose. Insanity is trying to same thing and expecting different results but that's what we were doing over and over, thinking it would work. But what did work was a clever set piece. Something different.
