One thing I've wondered, and I put up my hands that its a gross oversimplification of football, but if we are needing a goal late in the day, I'd really like to see us set Taylor up almost like in rugby when you set up for a drop goal. Have him standing on the D and those ahead of him working it to pass it back to him to have a crack.

He has such a lethal shot from distance, but whenever we are in that situ he is always too far back, further back than Morsy who has had the option to shoot like that in previous.

I'm sure its just naivity from me, but be interested for something like that to at least be in the attacking plays rotation.

Huge miss not having cajuste in there. A lot of players from our league 1 and championship side. This really is like a cup game. Lower league Vs premiership.

Of course and hope so too but head says that's a big downgrade in quality and I worry for ball retention and getting a foothold in the game.

Like Taylor but I don't see him as a premier league midfielder. I hope he well and truly proves me wrong! And he's young enough to still have a lot of game improvement in him.

I hope to be proved wrong but, I am yet to see him form a partnership with his DM partner. Just having possible long range goal does not do it for me as a DM. Darragh MacAnthony must be licking his lips on the next payoff we have to make.

Played well in every cameo this season. Note comments on his DM ability but in reality he’s a 10 so it’s always been a change for him. Fingers all crossed.

He's absolutely not a 10. He's a box to box midfielder.

H e never nailed a place at champ level though I think he's capable of being a very good championship midfielder. It's a step up again at Prem. What he does have his pace and is a fantastic striker of a football. He doesn't tend to control and dictate games. Don't think he has the overall game and the real close control and touch of a Prem player.

Despite never being a regular starter he definitely goes down as a good signing for me.
