I said it a few times last season, but we are getting really stung this season by not seeing out the 90. We are always full of vitality first half and with our best X1 I think it would make sense to maximise our strong North Stand crowd and get us out of site before half time. We are not doing it the other way around and we clearly score less in the 2nd half.

Yep they did. I think Dyche normally does that to us. Yes it didn't help us that day. Fair play to them their game plan was awesome. Remember for the first 75 minutes Pickford sat on a deckchair and smoked a pipe. Then we put Omari on the wing and we became a threat. | | | |

doesnt this come up every so often and the stats prove theres nothing in it, even though it feels we score more goals at the South stand end, actually we dont.
in theory attacking the North second half is better because thats where the nosiest part of the crowd put the away team under the most pressure, whilst at the south stand you have the away support countering it.
I did ponder it today purely because the stronger wind direction first half definitely gave us an advantage, but it kind of died down more second half so wasnt as much of a problem, though goal kicks were still only getting to the half way line, so Im not sure the lofting the ball was the right choice so often today in those circumstances. |  | | |

I believe it was 86-87 and it was the North Stand we didn't concede at. |  |
