ticket ballot question..... 15:51 - Dec 11 with 913 views | blueysbackside | ....for those of you who have been successful in the ballot: Is there a particular area (block) to target for a pair of tickets? My son would prefer to be lower/closer to the pitch. I've explained to him how things are now but, for example, can you get a pair of tickets via the ballot for the North Stand? Thanks

They'd still be subject to availability though, wouldn't they.

In my experience I've never noticed seat availability in the lower tier of the Sir Bobby / North. But as Under 14s aren't allowed in the lower tier of the Sir Bobby, I never look to buy there anyway. I have managed to get tickets in the lower tier of the Sir Alf / South Stand, so that is probably your best bet if you get access through the ballot.

Of course.... the seat does need to be available.... but you do get a choice if you're early to book
