...these last four games have shown what a brilliant manager McKenna is.

They were games we knew we needed to get something from, particularly given our Christmas fixtures. Losing away to Forest was hardly a disgrace, but the home losses to Palace and Bournemouth were fairly disastrous for our survival chances. And yet McKenna keeps calm, avoids an O'Neil style wobbler, and we're now back in the fight.

Calmness, consistency, integrity - whatever happens this season, we are very lucky to have him.

He is outstanding in his calmness.

However, unlike O'Neil, McKenna is absolutely secure in the support of both fans and those running the club. He has the space to run the team without undue pressure, even in tricky circumstances. Room to try things out and bring players on.

That is one of Ipswich Town's greatest strengths at the moment.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

He’s got so much credit in the bank it’s laughable.

Surely no other manager is loved as much as in the country. Genuinely.

O’Neil is under huge scrutiny at Wolves, they have won 3 games since March, KM isn’t under that same level of pressure, with back to back promotions KM has plenty in the bank, I don’t see how you really compare the two? Let’s be fair, I’m sure the emotions would’ve been completely different if we’d ended up drawing or losing yesterday’s game. Thankfully, we found a way……..just in the nick of time!

Well, I guess Wolves have won three since March because O'Neil doesn't have any of McKenna's qualities.

Or have been playing at a higher level of football longer than we have? 🤔

McKenna has been backed to build a team and retain his players. Wolves board have repeatedly sold the best players and expected the manager to recruit replacements for less.

It’s a sad indictment of how too many owners run their clubs.

Sadly I think O’Neill is at the end of his tether with having to manage expectations vs reality. You can’t build a team every season if you rip out the heart of the previous side.

With a far stronger squad and greater resources.

To be fair O'Neil.had his best players sold by the owners and not allowed to replace them, but he is getting all the stick from the fans.
If KM suddenly finds the owners sell Delap, Davis in Jan and won't let him replace and the fans give him stick, he might react the same as O'Neil.
