All this from an inexplicable kick off routine 16:28 - Dec 21 with 1203 views | Asa | Burns starts on the left, Chaplin tries to play in Hutchison and they get the ball. Bizarrely Burns then runs over to the right mid play when Omari can get out to the left leaving a massive gap for them to play through and score. Was sat here shouting at Burns to cover that side which is a basic for a Sunday team and we are one down and tone set. Shambles of a performance.

All this from an inexplicable kick off routine on 18:22 - Dec 21 with 823 views | ArnieM | Well since players don’t appear to make their own decisions in games anymore, but blindly follow instructions which must not be deviated from at any point in s game no matter how things are going, that leaves only one person to question about it really, doesn’t it? McKenna!

Nope, it requires Burns to have some football awareness.

But that seems to a problem for more .than one player in this squad at this level unfortunately… As I’ve posted elsewhere just now…. The problem is McKenna is almost a victim of his own success. He’s got us promoted to the PL via back to back promotions and we still have largely a league one squad. The second thing I think he is straggling with, is he’s trying, at the highest level, too execute a game plan that many of these players are showing they are not capable of executing week in week out. But McKenna is not adapting to a game plan this squad calibre can cope with. That’s HIS mistake, not the squad’s.
