Am I remembering wrong, or is there a rule that there nust be at least 1 (?) Player in the squad who came through our academy? Or played for our youth side?

Eight players who were trained at an English club for at least three years under the age of 21, so pretty much our entire squad counts for that. If we were to get into Europe we would need four club trained players to be in our squad list.
As an aside, I wonder when the last time we had a league game without an academy player in the squad/how many times its happened in recent history. The price of success I guess but it would be sad to see Woolfenden move on for that (and many other) reasons. |  | | |
