How many times have Ipswich played on a thursday? on 11:14 - Jan 14 by Keno
this was played on a Thursday
It was the 3rd replay. We were driving back from Felixstowe having seen family and bro was listening to it on his transistor radio. He exploded when we scored the second goal and Dad nearly drove into a lamp post. He was told to be quieter. Hence when Clive scored the third to make it 3-2 all you could see was a silent frenzy on the back seat. Happy days

As BlueinBrum told me in the pub the other day, we are currently on track to play a league game on every day of the week this year (some examples below):
Monday: Chelsea Tuesday: Palace Wednesday: Man United Thursday: Brighton Friday: Arsenal Saturday: Liverpool Sunday: Aston Villa
Annoyingly sounds like Man United might move so won't be true, but we have played Wimbledon in the cup on a Wednesday this year too.
Do you know when we will find out if the match is being moved to the 27th or not? Planning on heading over for the game (home end unfortunately) but keep hearing it might move and wanna book flights and stuff but no point till I know what date

I was just going to say the same thing. Was fairly sure it was and the away leg was on the Sunday morning.
yes it was at Selhurst Park on a Sunday, maybe a 12:30 kick off? The Town contingent was apparently nearly half of the measly 11,234 crowd. Luckily, a mate of mine was holding his flat warming in Brixton that afternoon so I was able to drown my sorrows.
