Burgess over Greaves for me on 12:13 - Jan 18 by ghostofescobar | Depends on the opposition. Burgess is slower than greaves, no doubt. Burgess is better in the air. Not sure burgess is better with the ball. It’s been noticeable on at least a couple of games how opposition teams have man marked us when our keeper has the ball, but left burgess free as they want him to have the ball as they feel his distribution is poor, which personally I think it can be at times, but I do think he’s improving. |
Greaves is better on the deck, what he probably doesn't have is as good a relationship with Davis His longer range passing and balls into Davis aren't as good as Burgess' balls currently I would say with 3 at the back, the left and right sided centre halves ideally need to be quicker and better on the ball, which is probably part of McKenna's thinking | |
