So, in the worst case scenario that McKenna goes to Spurs this month 07:39 - Jan 21 with 6919 viewsNeedhamChris

Who would you want?

I genuinely can't think of anyone realistic that wouldn't be a disappointment. Potter would have been okay - but now gone.

Luckily Levy's track record on good appointments is quite poor - so we should be fine.

Wayne Rooney is still available.

Spurs is becoming a managerial graveyard, where even very successful managers can’t make headway. Neither Murinho nor Conte could translate previous successes to Spurs, and Postecoglu is having the same issues. Nuno is proving to be a good manager with Forest, he didn’t last at Spurs. Just like ManU, there’s something wrong at Spurs, and it will take major surgery to resolve it and not just with the squad. Still KM took on our project, I just hope he thinks this one isn’t for him if he gets asked.

At the moment McKenna's stock is still high - as such he will be linked with 'bigger' PL jobs that come along.

However, if we are relegated and we (God forbid) were to be as poor at Luton next season then he might never be linked with such jobs again.

So, from McKenna's point of view, if he was to be offered the Spurs job it would surely be very, very tempting?

Be in his interests to go, his stock is still very high, his results in this league haven't affected that, yet. Most managers eventually get to a point where they're no longer wanted so for his sake he should get out while the goings still good.
