I live locally and a lot of saints fans I know suggest he's not really stepped up to the level.

I must admit when I've watched Saints ( which is a fair few times this season), I've always been struck by just how pedestrian and average he has looked. He seems to follow the ball around making the odd short pass of no more than 2-3 metres, but rarely seems to change pace, or instigate things. He might fo the odd cross field pass. But overall he looks out of his depth unfortunately. |  |
