Massive job now 18:59 - Feb 2 with 621 views | victorysquad | It was always going to be hard, but the players look pretty shot to me. They are going through the motions, but are performing 10-20% within themselves and I think they have lost belief they are good enough (setting Delap aside). It is easy to start highlighting problems when things are not going so well, but if that was ever a helpful thing to do, we are past that point imo. What we have is what we have, and we need to get the best out of them. I have seen us be competitive in enough games to know this side is capable of escaping relegation. We are stronger now than we have been all season from a quality perspective. I think the questions I have are: - what motivates these players? - who are the Leaders? - are they up for the fight?

Massive job now on 20:41 - Feb 2 with 447 views | WestSussexBlue | Mmm, not sure I’d agree that the players are going through the motions. Not one single member of the coaching or management team would allow that. I personally think we’ve made some mistakes with certain players, along with injuries to some key players. It’s starting to look more and more difficult to avoid relegation but, I remember thinking we’d blown any hope of promotion after failing to beat Bristol Rovers in Feb 23.
Massive job now on 20:45 - Feb 2 with 421 views | Vic | not sure any are gong through the motions - but totally agree about the players confidence being shot, with the result being that they are playing within themselves. at our best I am convinced they are good enough - but only if they play to thier potential, which they currently aren't able to do. Hutch is a great eg of this. it's all now about confidence - or maybe lack of it!

A lot to work on for sure, i think a encisco delap partnership may save us if they can click quickly. I do hope they use pyschologists too Could be worth some face to face sessions with supporters. I think some of the new players are probably unaware of how long its been since we got here, and how inportant it is for the town and wider county
