He superb and I wouldn’t want him to be sidelined for any reason but honest question do you not think we’d have more points with a better keeper in the first half of the season?

Absolutely. I like the look of Palmer too. I think Walton would have got us more points than Muric too (hence why McKenna made the change). But staying up will be because of a combination of all of the factors. Don't forget Muric did still play a part in getting the points we have got too. He was man of the match at Brighton. I am not sure if he will turn it around here or whether he will move on, but things change quickly in sport.

So if he’d been here since the start of the season we’d have 5 or 6 points more( which we don’t have) then if we stay up how would you not go that far?

Time will tell, I’m optimistic hence my post COYB

I'm going to be generous here and say that Muric probably needs a decent long spell on the sidelines having his bad habits coached out and rebuilding his confidence. [Post edited 15 Feb 18:13]

Hell, if he'd been here three weeks earlier we'd probably be sat in 17th right now.

For the sake of fairness, Muric pulled off a crucial save in injury time away to Spurs too...

He made too many mistakes which is why he is no longer our first choice keeper but there is a lot he is very good with. Let's not forget Hladky made a lot of mistakes too but the balance of good vs mistakes seemed to be in his favour at the level we were at.
