Reminds me - Saturday around 11am Mrs and I arrived at Ipswich station to catch a train for a day out in Ely. Of course we had the influx of Portman Road-goers to navigate past on our way to the platform, that was expected.
But what wasn't expected was to hear the London to Norwich line was suspended due to an incident between Stowmarket and the dark-place, meaning hordes of yellow folk being turfed off their train onto our platform, with most of them rerouting via our train to Peterborough.
So what should have been a quiet journey with plenty of space on our carriage was instead one packed shoulder to shoulder with nodge fans in a bad mood because timely arrival to their home match was now in doubt.
I resisted the urge to attempt a 'Blue Army' chant. |  |

Due to the typo, I read that as train lube….
