(Might look this way but actually untrue as we’ve not conceded many from set pieces - lastnight aside) Weak at the back and make mistakes time after time Attack, not sure really, Delap seems more interested in Delap than passing the ball at times. CM often over run. I do like the new keeper tho, he looks the real deal. [Post edited 27 Feb 9:14]

We haven’t been able to attract seasoned Prem level players to reinforce them. People bleat about the money spent as if it’s a lot nowadays. I have no idea what you plums expected. |
From the League One squad, over the course of the season it’s pretty much only Davis who’s starting now, even Morsy has been dropped and only back due to injury/suspension. Not many of our League One players have been starters all season.

Some modest success has poisoned so many minds, we saw it when McK was flirting with Brighton and others in the summer. The sooner we get relegated the better cos hopefully certain among you will stop posting here and go back to supporting Spurs. |
There is a lot of value in what you say, but people can be frustrated with last night. It felt like the first half of the season we were learning, had some bad luck and a lot of games we just lost the crucial moments which cost us. We beat Chelsea just before January transfer window and everything looks like we are going to give this a really good go. The last 6 weeks has been very poor and last night was one of the most frustrating games ti watch in the last 20 years as unlike a lot of those 20 years, we have decent players and a great manager yet we contrived to find a way to shoot ourselves int he foot all night. Winning is a habit, a lot of times the last 2 seasons we found a way in games to win and get some luck, even when we did not always deserve it. This season our habit Is losing, look at games like Spurs and last night, we are finding different ways to not win and that is what hurts. If we were rubbish like Southampton (and let's not mention the 1 point we gained from them in both games!) you accept getting thrashed 4-0 each week and want the season to end. We are in almost every game but we though it away through poor decision making, or not going for the game.

As said many times, I didn’t expect anything. If you expect or assume anything, IMO, that makes you an idiot. I had hoped that by keeping hold of KM, and sticking him on a huge wage, that he’d perhaps be the difference in some tight games. Was widely said on here he was the biggest/best signing we made all summer (I absolutely agreed) but are we seeing it? We’ve got worse as the season has gone on.
