A tale of two United's... 23:56 - Feb 26 with 640 viewspointofblue

What has happened between us playing them at Portman Road and now? In November, we put them on the ropes, we were far the better team, we looked like we deserved to be in the Premier League and would fight tooth and nail for everything we can get.

I can't say any of that tonight. It was one of the worst performances of the season. The way we have fallen apart - spells aside, probably from the moment Brighton scored at PR - has been alarming. Lack of belief? Lack of nous? Being found out?

For those calling for Burgess, intriguing he started against United at Portman Road. As did the unfortunately missing Burns and Szmodics, who is fit enough to make the bench but seemingly only play for a couple of minutes at a time.

There are eleven games league games remaining and right now I don't know where our next point is going to come from, let alone win. Out of touch, out of ideas, almost out of hope. How different to three months ago.

There's so many reasons, but our injuries have been crippling. Burns, Ogbene, Tuanzebe (twice) Phillips, Hirst, Chaplin, Szmodics, have all had spells out.

As you've mentioned it, Burgess being ousted is still one I can't get my head around and couldn't from the beginning. I thought the two LCBs might be rotated a bit, for the right game depending on the opposition and CF etc, but how it's been decided Burgess is the outright second choice since Greaves has been fit doesn't sit great with me. Small sample size of course but Burgess played at Tottenham and Wolves. Have to say it's the same with Broadhead as well.

Burgess hasn't played since the Manchester City home game, as though McKenna is purely blaming him for that debacle or something. I'm not sure why, but I feel O'Shea and Burgess work better as a pair, as do Woolfenden and Greaves. Something doesn't feel quite right with O'Shea and Greaves as a unit.

Agree with Broadhead too. Philogene and Clarke seem to really have issues utilising their pace at this level so why not use them as subs to run at tiring full backs? Broadhead, like Woolfenden and Burgess, hasn't really done anything wrong this season yet he rarely starts.

A lot of people giving plaudits to Amorim for that win tonight but he was just lucky that we were so bad , especially in the second half .

We conceded 3 soft goals , which most other teams in the league could prevent.
We again were toothless going forward , most other teams in the league other so much more in terms of cutting edge
He also was lucky that Maguire scored and we had no reply as the decision to take Garnacho off was shocking

United are still woeful , they were hustling lucky they came up against us , who most of all lack the belief in critical moments
