We are up against it but I don't get the doom and gloom re Wolves. If we beat them then their lead is two points which is one result. It's far from over, albeit we need pick up wins soon.

It's not doom and gloom from me, just realism. Wolves have moved 5 points ahead of us and we have also lost significant ground on them on GD in the last 6 weeks. We basically need to beat them and then win another game more than them in the run in. If they win one more game (they still have to play both Southampton and Leicester, so the chances are they will win at least another game) we would then have to - at least - win 3 more games in the last 11 games. We have only won 3 in the first 27 games, so it's a tall ask.

I'm not saying it's over, I'm just saying we're heading into "The great escape" territory. I will always have hope until it's mathematically impossible but my belief that it's likely is starting to wane. That's not doom and gloom, is it?

Agreed Tony, nothing about our form suggests we can catch Wolves, let alone beat them at PR. I hope we do beat them, so as a fanbase we have another high point to enjoy this season. But we've given ourselves far too much to do.

As for the Championship next season, Burnley are a great example. Went down with a whimper, lost an absolute shedload of players, Parker nearly quit in August, and then they've just steamrolled the league.

With a full pre-season under their belt, the majority of this squad will fly next season. We'll be fine. Also lucky to be heading into a "poor" Championship judging on who's going down with us and who's coming up from L1.

We're very similar from what I've seen, but our boys are more willing to run through walls for the gaffer. Looking forward to our game in May - there's a good chance we'll need to win it to finish above them, considering they'll be favourites against Southampton.
